Gliding in on the wings of night, soft footprints in the sand, she came crowned in moonlight, loose garment ashimmer with the gentle iridescence of ocean-tossed pearls. The scent of the midnight wind, morning-caressed roses, a far-away sun, tangled in the raven cascade of her hair and clung to the delicate wings as the moon shone eery gold through the fragile limbs. Drifting strong, solitary, independent, the fae chanced upon these shores and swept quietly curious eyes of emerald smoke over her new surroundings.
