The thing I get a kick out of is that their student body barely shows up until they can get on TV by running onto the court and hanging on the rims.. I can't take anything away from their squad. Good team. That's why Chuck is here though. He didn't take the job because he thought he'd be playng for second. Two years from now, they'll be the team to beat as long as he's here... I'm not ruling out next year either. Kaba and Drummond make them instant contenders. I'd say Marist has had the best baseball team over the years. I believe one year they didn't win the regular season title was because of a fight. Siena picked up the pieces because Marist had to forfeit games. I believe they still won the tournament. They're back in Baseball. In terms of relevance, Marist will have had 2 guys who played in the NBA. JJ will be in the league shortly. I hope Siena wins a few games in the big dance. Some of their fans are idiots but the team is made up of good guys...Finally, Brady left us in shambles but Martin will take us higher than Brady ever did.

so unnecessarily this year, but it is in the rearview mirror now. We got to see a new staff and system take root and the young guys got a year under their belt. The transfers will elevate the talent level and Martin may have struck gold with Prescott. Carter will be healthy and our post players will be much more effective when opponents begin dealing with Drummond. Lots of competition at the guard spots will only force the guys to bet better if they want PT. The new guys are gonna change way Men's Basketball has been played at Marist over the years. Just watch, can't wait.
Oh yea, and the Women will still kick tush in the league.
