Here's a nice piece..

Would the outcome have been different on a neutral floor? It’s hard to say. Dayvon Whitaker was masterful early, hitting 8 of his first 10 shots, scoring 18 of his game-high 27 in the first half. Most of his points came off jumpers with a hand in his face, on 15-foot fadeaways or jumpers coming off screens. Whenever he hit a shot in the first half, the people sitting around me just started laughing. It was the ultimate compliment. The shots he was making were unbelievable

One more.. Get this guy Chuck!!!!!

After the game, Whitaker had coaches from Marist talking to him and his family. According to coach Brian Laffin, they’ve been on him for weeks, and he’s been contacted by Richmond, College of Charleston, Manhattan and several other MAAC schools. Whitaker is destined to be a star at that level. His strength, body control and court savvy are what makes him special. His shooting and quickness are almost like a bonus. Based on what I’ve seen in three games, he’s one of Section 1’s top five players hands-down.
