Author: upstate [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 13:58:39 03/22/09 Sun i think the men's rivalry is one-sided and i was only saying that it isn't really viewed as huge rivalry by siena. yeah, the schools are close in proximity, but they really don't seem to be recruiting the same kids and other than he one tough game at McCann for siena, I don't see how they are connected. just a fact that i thought you'd be interested in. until marist beats siena in a maac tournament, i think this will not be a true rivalry for siena. i also agree that the women's rivalry is one-sided, but i could care less. i would imagine that siena/fairfield would be a bigger rivalry from a siena perspective. from a marist perspective, i'd be hard pressed to think that you view siena as a huge rivalry. if siena is your biggest wbb rival, i would be surprised. i would think your focus would be on someone better than them.
