I love the hustle, the grit, the never say die, but I can't wait for this season to be over. There was a reason the coaches picked them for 10th.

I know.. I loved the first half. They just don't have enough talent to sustain. All of them show flashes but none of them put it together for a full game. Even Schneider. He had a few chances to give them breathing room and he goes cold. Parris had a spurt then misses foul shots. Oh well. We've got studs coming in. We won't have these worries next year. The girls will get us another title.

Frager had a great game plan and his team executed it to perfection, tip hat move on. Canisius performance was inexcusable.

Viani needs to get out of the shooting funk. The griffs blanked her, but she still missed the few open shots she had. Saw she was only 2-5 on Sunday.

The youngster timely performance on Sunday allowed the starter to only have to play a half. As Giorgis has said all year, now is the time for the newbies to realize how good they are and assert themselves regularly just like Sunday. Jules, Rachele, Lynzee and the sophs need some help against the experience of FF, Siena and Canisius.

Schneider, Bauer, Gregory, Parris, Devezin, Hall, Taylor, Williams. Goodwin has just been too ravaged by his prior knee injuries and Vouyoukas is too timid this year. Play these 8 for the rest of the season and see what happens. Only give the other 2 time during strategic time outs, 2 minutes here or there to rest players.

any reports of his classless act at the end of the game? Mansell was dribbling out the clock, Schneider runs up and steals the ball races down court passes up a lay up and kicks the ball to Goodwin for a 3 infront of the Marist benc, Martin yells don't shoot it and the clock runs out. I was also less then impressed with Schneider flopping to the floor after each brick he threw up and then crying for a foul. Schneider has played well this year but I didn't realize he was such a punk.

Frustration - but calling him a punk or classless is a little harsh - it wasnt about him or he would have "padded stat" by taking layup or dunking. He just tried to make the game look closer then it was - I believe that would have made it a single digit loss. Please trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill

Look Beagle. Have you no basketball knowledge my friend?? I came up to Marist last night to watch Rider play as I have been following them for many years, including heavily this season. I am puzzled at your views on Schneider, arguably the best player in the conference. I look at this board all the time but never post. But reading this this afternoon I got heated. The kid Schneider has played his heart out for a struggling team all year and sure he stole the ball but did he lay it in??? No! Which shows to be less selfish because I believe he is approaching 1,000 points. Watch some more basketball and tell me how many times you see the team losing still playing defense at the end. Mansell left it out there for anyone to take, my son sitting next to me could have stolen that ball from the fifth row. Have some knowledge man and respect a kid like Schneider who has played all out all season.

I agree with Andy and MAAC fan. Schneider is all class. It was clearly an ill advised frustration move. Jamal Barney did the same thing against us in the game at Loyola except his team had the lead and he took the shot...just missed. Sometimes kids at this level made a bad decision but all in all Schneider is a great kid.

How bout the stiff arm garbage from Gadson at least once if not twice directed at a Marist player...looked a little dirty to me. Ringgold displays Ben Farmer and Shane McNamara like expressions everytime he's whistled as well to be fair.

So please lets steer clear of any Marist is classless, punk garbage. Marist has for the most part been a model citizen program over their MAAC tenure, almost to a fault sometimes I think. I personally would like to see more of a mean streak or attitude in our personnel. We often are on the short end of physical mathups historically and players who play with outward confidence or demonstrative attitude often get the best of us. I'd like our team to play with that kind of confident attitude for once.

Didn't Dempsey pull his players off the court during the ceremony after last year's MAAC Tourney finals?

Silly frustration move by Schneider last night. Whiny, petulant, sore sport act by a D1 coach.

Classless, Punk????, you all decide.

Perhaps I am unfair to judge Schneider from last nights performance but that is what I saw

Schneider would not start on Siena, wouldnt get a shot at Niagara, and would be a roll player on Rider. Good kid, great kid, absolutely. He is not tough, and the team resembles his mindset. They are a team that stays in the game and plays hard, and does what they are capable of. Do they make each other better, do they make the shot when they need it, do they buckle down on defense to get that stop or grab that rebound instead of giving up a second chance oppurtunity. Schneider is good player and will in the end have a nice college career to look back on and he deserves credit for the effort he has put forth. But in each moment that this team has looked to their leader and asked for that shot, or rebound, or stop, he is not there. Chuck knows it, he is riding these guys to take 4 or 5 with him for next season. Some guys cant play for him but do now out of necessity. New look next year..they will be tough..not yet though

Schneider would be so much better if teams didnt blanket him. Thats what happens in a one dimensional offense. Thats not a shot at Chuck. Its tells of the lack of talent on the team. I agree with your statements regarding the future.
