3 wins in 2 years should mean something when they seed. I am thinking 11. Since that would get them 6 seed, that means they would be facing a team that is probably ranked somewhere between 20-30 right now. I just don't want us to get Tennessee on this down year. I don't care how bad they are doing, I don't want Summitt in the first round.

They already have the #1 seed for next weekend.

Anything can happen next weekend, especially against the senior laden FF and Canisius or even the athletic Peahens or the way overdue for a win against Marist, Iona Lady Gaels.

You've got to like the way they have seemed to focus since the Canisius loss, and despite the defensive lapse at Manhattan, they took it to FF and Hartford on the road and drilled a Siena team that outplayed them for 35 minutes in Loudenville a month earlier. They are healthy, and Best showed some signs of getting back to her pre-sickness form. If the newbies play well enough in the first game to spare the starters extended time, I like their chances. If you can't rest your starters then the tournament becomes as much more a war of attrition, and the team with the most spring in their legs on Sunday usually wins.
