I know they won 28 games, but anyone who thinks that the 2009 Marist team is better than the 2008 Marist team is drinking WAY to much of the kool-aid. Last year's team had more quality opponents and wins. Beating Hartford is a good win, but they didn't win their league, so that hurts them. Seeding is based on alot of things, not just win total. No marquee wins, against a softer SOS than usual is a formula for a lower seed -- the name recongnition may help, but now way they are a 6 seed.
