I think the NCAA should put in a rule that it should not be allowed. The player can transfer, but not to the coach that just left that team. Main reason is it really is not fair that Brady recruited these players on Marist's recruiting budget. What did Marist get out of it? James Madison gets 3 players that they didn't have to pay a dime to recruit. Marist gets royally hosed. By the way, on the James Madison board there was a comment we were heavily involved with the point guard that went to James Madison as well. Rare circumstances that this happens, I believe most coaches have more respect for the game than what happened to Marist.

It makes you wonder what kids are thinking of. I would hope it's more about the school and the campus life. None of them are going to the NBA. I'd be asking myself whether I would want to play for a guy who can pack up and leave after recruiting me? He just got done selling me on Marist and then JMU is the place to be?? The biggest joke is how overpaid the coaches are. The MAAC pays coaches what they should be paid. A very nice salary for what they do.
