this was a team effort.

- poor perimeter defense (especially to start the game)

- could neither make a shot nor make a stop down the stretch, outscored 16-6.

- not a single offensive rebound in the last 12 minutes.

Unlike FF where they seemed to get caught off guard by the opponents game plan, everyone knew what the Griff were going to shoot long jump shots until their arms fell off. Kudos to the Griff players for draining them, but too bad the Marist kids waited so long into the contest to follow their defensive game plan.

She took way too many threes and fell right into the Canisius defensive game plan. Giorgis needs to red-light her on the 3's.

Fitz worked like crazy in the post in the second half and did not get nearly enough touches. And Canisius had foul trouble with their bigs - what a missed opportunity!

I saw Laterza get away with sliding out on a high screen earlier in the game, which should have been called, only to get busted on the same play later.

Gang will be a very good player, but her rebounding has been a big problem all season. She needs to get in and bang down low before she can be compared to Dahlman or Fitz. Even Yarde is a better rebounder at this point.
