Oh..and Marist wins the game. Been through a couple of campus renovation and building projects where I work. Hope I'm wrong, but I agree, no new basketball arena being considered here. It makes more sense to just build a new one if you want to go that route. So Marist fans should hope that someone with big bucks thinks so too. First issue with a new facility is where. There is very little available land in the vicinity of the Marist campus; with one possible exception. I happen to know one of the primary owners of the former Hudson Valley Psyc center. They would like to sit down and talk to Marist but Marist has yet to initiate any conversation. So we are likely stuck with an upgraded McCann. They can and should blow out the walls behind the team benches and the student section and raise the roof and turn the BB court 90 degrees. The expanded foot print and raised roof would allow for expanded seating in the BB arena. We can only hope that's part of Phase II
