If you go directly to the TUC event site, # 518-487-2000, I was told directly that the better seats all in the middle are gone. I then asked, to Siena season ticket holders? I was told yes. That is crap in my opinion. Some should have been held for fans of the other teams.

This complaint should be addressed to the MAAC commissioner. Actually Eisnor doesn't care who sits in the seats as long as they are sold. One of these days the folks at MAAC HQ will stop bending over for Siena. No wonder the rest of the MAAC despises Siena. And the saints fans think it's because they are BETTER than everyone else. HAH!

will become hysterical domination if they don't win 3 the first weekend in March. Not to mention the financial ramifications if the Saints go marching out before Monday evening.

Though we Marist fans shouldn't be too tough on the Commish, after all he is still a member of the NCAA Women's Tourney Selection Committee.

For some reason Devezin's petition goes to the MAAC Office for review. Guarantee you this. If Marist get out of the pig and faces the Saints, Devezin will be deemed retroactively ineligible to this year 15 minutes before the tip. ;-)

Didn't the commish hire a former Marist WBB star as his future replacement?

I finally decided just to drive down to Albany and get my tickets. All session passes left are pretty crappy and no sections are saved for teams, at least for all session passes. I decided on upper level middle instead of lower level way on the side. I know it doesn't make a difference for our games unless the men face Siena, but I think that game actually has a good chance at happening.

you guys are hilarious. i think it is common sense, but i guess not.

the maac holds seats in good sections for all schools. at some point, the decision is made to 'release' those seats to the general public. how can you complain when you wait until the last minute to buy your tickets? then you wonder why the maac doesn't hold all of the seats until tip for each school when almost every maac school sends less than 200 fans to the tournament. the maac would lose out on a lot of money by not selling thousands of the best seats in hopes that the other maac schools have thousands of fans deciding to come last minute (within last 14 days???). history has shown that siena's fan base has to carry this tournament financially, so they are smart for selling the tickets to whoever will buy them (earlier the better).

i think they do the right thing in waiting until after the new year to release them though, this allows every school's fans have the chance to purchase good seats. but to complain because you called 14 days before the tournament and couldn't get center court seats is ridiculous.

as always, your bad luck (in this case, decision making) is siena and the maac's fault. take away siena and this tournament is played on-campus's in front of 2,300 fans. no way the league could lose the 100,000's of thousands of dollars every year to play in hsbc, ahy, etc. playing in albany at least every two years can put them in a situation to break even by making up the shortfall the year they are at the tuc.
