The schedule is gonna hurt them. No room for in season losses in a pretty weak MAAC (compared to last year), no close loss to a big conference team like OSU or wins over the likes of Utah and Nebraska like last year, and only one marquee game at Hartford left.
Marist fans have to hope that Oklahoma keeps winning to stay on UConn's heels in the rankings and begin to look better than maybe people thought they were when they drubbed Marist. They also won't get the credit they deserve for reloading after the loss of 3 big time players. IMO, this team has been pretty amazing given the turnover.
The nightmare scenario is a loss to Hartford and a loss in the finals of the tournament, and the weak schedule keeps them from earning an at-large.
