ok, here goes... but just keep in mind i might be making up part of this coz as i said, my chinese is HORRIBLE1 ^_^

there are actually three stories in this series evolving around Alec's character w/c is a lower court judge. the first part involves the evil royal prince who framed someone for a murder, alec found out about it and because of his principles, went against the prince and ended up almost being framed himself. the side/romantic part of the story is when alec met a mysterious girl when he fell down a cliff. she saved him and he met her again later on...fell in love with each other... prince met her, fell in love with her * oh what a tangled web we weave* ...n there's a whole lot more...ok...did i wet ur appetite? go watch the series now...alec is just too cute in this one, and his character reminds me of Yong Qi in HZGG. i was really surprise to find out that this film was from 1991!
