*Leading a Clydesdale mare who was pulling a cart with some hay in it. Kath dismounts and starts to unload the hay for the horses. The 24-yr-old cuts the twine and starts to distribute the hay around the meadow. Smiles at the curious foal, thinking about breeding some of the mares she's got to some of the stallions. Once she had finished with the hay, she untacks the colt and the mare and hobbles them then lets them graze. Sits down next to the others.*

Hugs Midnight's large neck and brings a bale of hay out in front of her. Pulls out a photo from her pocket. Hands it to Kath. It was a picture of them,whent she first met her. " I want to give this to you,my new doctor says that I have a 30 percent of living. The funny thing is I walked in a organazation for pregnant teens and they just threw me out...because they said I killed my father..." Sighs heavily. " I don't think we ever think that death exists,I know I will probaly die." She hugs her freind silent salt-filled tears filled her eyes.Closed her eyes. "I think thats all I'm good at doing,crying and thats all I've done."

And there is a good chance you will live. * he smiles and looks ivy straight in the eye. One of his eyes were blue, but the other was pale white, with a scar across it. On his right hand, his middle finger was missing.

*Studies it. Recognises it as the day of their first roundup. Their horses were in the background and the dogs were in front of them. Kath remembers that the camera was sitting on an old tree stump. Kath looks up at Ivy and gives her a hug, tears squeezed out from under her eyelids.* You are not going to die! I don't believe it, and neither should you. You are going to live and we are all going to make sure of that aren't we! *Looks at Jenn and Rankin.* Every one of us needs you around. Even the horses. *Hugs Ivy again.* I'm not going to let you die. *The 24-yr-old sets her jaw in determination.*

He strokes her head. She was a beautiful mare, even though he could only see her with one eye. The other, had a scar through it. Danger's Defiance and Sierra lie close by, and watch.

Author: Star [ Edit \| View ]	Date Posted: 19:48:10 02/22/02 Fri Star's eyes grow big when he sees the hay but ignores it, he would save most of it for his mares and foals, he walks up to Kath and blows a warm breath against her cheek thanking her for the hay then walks up to Ivy and nuzzles her, he knew Midnight loved her dearly and wanted to comfort her.
