Subject: Wanders idly Author: Frosted Willow [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:36:26 04/29/02 Mon She searches for Starry Night,yet finding her crowded around the new arrival,she decides to just enjoy the morning,and take a walk. She sets out for a jutting rock over looking a snaking river. Her hooves find their way easily along the rock jumbled path,so her mind is left to wander and think about things she had not had time to think about lately. A rock slipped from beneath her,and she was jolted from her thoughts,and then she realized she had reached the outcropping. Placing her fores upon the warmed rock,she pulled herself the short distance upward,and her breath caught within her,as she looked at the amazing view she beheld. Aspens and birches turning to a shimmering gold,and maple to a dazzling crimson. She stood there silently,and let the wind whip through her thick mane and tail,as the furious river lapped at the base of the outcropping,showing it's distaste for those who would not brave it's majestic length. She started to say something,yet the harsh winds at this height,whipped them from her,and slapped her plume painfully against her haunches. I just wondered why you looked so upset when your sister frightened you off. I thought it was of some importance ! She meant it not to sound filled with anger,but the wind forced her to raise her voice to reach the auds of the masculine.
