*Midnight raises her head,scanning the tt and herd breifly,then nudges Star under the Oak tree.She nuzzled him gently,her sweet warm breath coming out in cold white ghosts of steam.A slight trickle of snow falls to the now barren meadow,creating a thin blanket of snow.The mare,with one last loving nuzzle,buckles to the ground,nestling herself deep in the snow.Things were becoming slow pace,the humans hadn't visited in awhile,and the mustang inside the TB was dying to come out.With a snoft snort she lowered her muzzle,digging in the white snow,playfully throwing some onto Star with a quick nudge.*
%Midnight Star,leaped back as the white stuff started falling from the sky,although he was a yearling,this was his first snow,and he was very frightended.He quickly came trotting up to his father and mother,his wide almond eyes wide with amazement.%
DAD MOM! THERES WHITE STUFF FALLING FROM THE SKY!
%In all the commotion he tripped and fell face flat on the ground.In a curious sniff,he sneezed,then cocked his head,deciding to taste the substance.It seemed good to him,and when he discovered it was water,the large colt got up,and started trotting to his sister to tell her what was happening.%
*Night's Star quickly arose from the mess,chuckling at his brother's antics.He then looked over to his father and mother,they looked happy,it was another winter,and he wanted to spend it like his parents.With another mare,he was just turning into a young stallion,and he was facing a difficult decision.He loved his parents,and the harem,but he couldn't stick around forever,even though his mother and father would insist that he didn't get pressured into leaving.In distress,the stally snorted in distress,trying to decide what to do.*
