*Kath gently picks up the smaller dog and places him on the couch in the office. Gets the first aid kit from the tack room and sets it down. Gives Jake the once-over, finds the broken leg and tranquillises him so she could maneuver the bone back in place. Once that is done she gets a splint and puts it on the leg before bandaging it with the sticky plaster. Puts an Elizabethan collar on Jake and gives him some water. Goes outside the office and fills a bowl of water for Tom. Both dogs had been very brave and had gotten through the day well. Kath returns to the office to talk to the others.*
