Deep in the thickened forest, a creature stirs as the first rays of day's sunlight creep over her gold-red fur. She looks up, blinking away the fog of sleep and a slow, small smile crosses her face, watching the sunrise through her familiar grove of tightly-grown trees and shrubs. It's time to hunt and that's what she wants to do... hunt. A meal can't be that far away and she gets up with a stretch and a shake before trotting off in search of either a herd of docile, cow-like cudders or a faster, gamey-er grazer...
She can feel the last vestiges of night magic hanging heavy in her soft, well-groomed coat. She used to wonder about that magic all the time, ever since starting to live here. But now... now night magic holds no draw for her. It's to be shaken off as easily as the morning dew.
