What a miserable day... Only two hours of sleep. I guess it didn't matter when I got on the shuttle (Bus) to go to the Art Institute/Museum in Chicago.
Why am I sad though? I went to the museum for my school project. But, I also went there to get away from the life of mine that I am normally wishing to get away from. I should've bought the first ticket away from this place as soon as I did. Too bad for me.
Anyway, before I get sidetracked (Afterall, only a real reader would be able to finish reading what I have to say in about ten seconds. In other words, my friends are the ones who have read this and relate.) ...
Right, as I was saying. This I know is true for most of everyone here who reads Redwall and other related Non-Fiction (Hey, dreamers can dream, can't they?) that where ever you read you become absorbed into the story, right? Well, I went to the said museum, and totally unexpeted of such that makes me happy; I was no more than two feet away from staring at old medieval arms and armor. The swords, halberds and axes all made me feel at home. I feel kinda empty now that I am back home, with only my memories of todays excitment.
The museum is huge, which is for me an understatement. There are a few hundred rooms it seemed, each larger than the last. And staircases that could put a Resident Evil game to shame, as the architecture looks very similar.
I know there is more to say. I can't spoil everything...
Except for the massive two handed sword in the arms and armory hallway. =)
I had fun, for a decent part of the day. Too bad Sarah, was nowhere around... She understands me a little more it seems than I to her.
She's on right now, so I shall end this and speak later.
Your mate you can trust, Kitsune.
