Subject: Animation Issue

Has anyone had any experience using animation in a situation involving a collection of files some of which are animated and some of which are not????

I have a display program (see XPress Pix OE at <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://3bears.gif)">http://3bears.gif)</a> that is doing animated GIF's and plain GIF's and jpeg's. (Ask Michael not me on how to do GIF's:-)))

Sometimes when I am in the process of switching files, the program blows up with an envision error - frame 0 not found. This happens even if I turn off animation before doing the load.

Here is my fix - but I'm wondering if the problem is really mine. And I really don't understand Timer's well enough to see why it should be needed:

FIX:

procedure TImageScrollBox.AnimateTimer( Sender : TObject );
begin
if FrameCount <= 1 then
Exit;
if not FAnimationTimer.Enabled then exit; // ac2 July 2004

...
