Hi Rajan,

No, it is not possible to determine the format from the byte stream directly. You need to store this information in another field of your record.

Envision is based on the VCL framework, where each class derived from TGraphic (for example, Graphics.TBitmap, or EnTifGr.TTiffGraphic) is responsible to handle a particular file format. This does not allow identifying a format from the bytes of the format.
