Hi Guy,

The first thing I would try, is make sure the demo program is ran outside the IDE. When running a twain program from the IDE debugger, it sometimes confused the message loop.

When an image is scanned with Twain, a value indicating there are more images is returned to the application. This is how Envision works. But I think it is also possible to request a specific number of images, or some variations on that, which I guess is what the other applications are doing. You may want to check if there are any options in your twain driver's dialog box related to multiple images.

Unfortunately, it is really hard for me to test this. Is this a digital camera? Does the twain driver load (and possibly transfer images) even if the camera (or scanner) is not connected? The Kodak DC215 driver allows transfering images from the hard disk even when the camera is not connected. If your driver supports something similar to this, if possible, could you email me a link where I may download the driver to test this.

Best regards,

Michel
