Thanks for the reply. I know that setting the height/width via twain is possible with the Umax Astra 1220S, which I am using, as I have done this using another library. (Am I allowed to mention ImageLib here.<g>)If there is anything I can do to help, feel free.

Incidentally, I have taken the opportunity of an upgrade to one of our applications to do a complete re write using Envision. I am delighted with the results.
