Hi Ted,

The "rows per strip" can be changed in the source code. I gave it a default of 256 which general gave better compression. I may also add this as a property for a future release.

For the Tiff directory offset, there is not any control over this. This is based in the libtiff library, so it may be done in the C source code, but this is probably quite involved and may not be possible at all.
