Hi Homer,

I'm not familiar with ADO Express, but the first thing I would do is determine what type the field has, in order to determine how it can be read and written to.

This can be done by using,

Str := rsTest.FieldByName('Image').ClassName

and looking at the contents of Str in the debugger.
