Subject: Access violation - BCB4

Hi,

I'm running C++Builder4 (fully patched) under Win98SE; I have a problem where each time I add "enreg.pas" or any of the "en*gr.pas" files to my project, I get the following error during compilation:

Access violation at address 0085B7B4 in module 'DCC40.DLL'. Write of address F9F1100D.

This only happens when I include the envision .pas files. Otherwise, I'm fine.

This always happens during the compiltion of EnCLib.pas (so the GUI tells me).

I looked at EnCLib.pas and noticed that line number that was returned falls on the last line in the file (I'm assuming that the error is occurring at the file after this one)?

So I jumped to the command prompt and ran "make" on my project, and it compiles and the exe runs just fine.

I'm still looking at the problem myself (I haven't done much testing since I was able to get the exe created), but any insight anyone can provide into this problem would be appreciated (i.e., what is DCC40.DLL for?). I'd really like to continue compiling in the GUI.

Thanks!
Dennis
