Usually this error occurs when displaying images in the VCL TImage component and the proper unit for the specific file format has not been included in a uses clause.

For example, with the VCL built-in support, if you don't include the Jpeg unit it is not possible to load JPEG files.

With Envision you can include the EnReg unit which will automatically include the formats defined in the Envision.Inc file.

In your case, I'm a bit confused, because if you are compile the Demo.Dpr project, the EnReg unit should be automatically included. When you mention the demo program do you mean the Demo.Dpr project?

A simple test to see if Envision is properly being accessed is to create a very small project containing a TImage component on a form. Make sure you include the EnTifGr unit in the uses clause of the main unit in the project. Then you should be able to load a TIFF file into the TImage component at run-time.
