Subject: Annotations question

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody would be able to provide some direction on what features of Envision would work best for a problem I'm working on. The problem is this:

Using Multipage tifs, I want to build a little drawing program that has layering capabilities. The idea is one frame in the tif = one layer in the image. Each layers visibility can be turned on and off at the will of the user using a panel of checkboxes. When more than one layer is visible, the bottom appears solid and I want every layer on top of it to appear transparent except for the shapes, lines, etc. that have been drawn on each.

I'm a newbie to graphics manipulation with envision, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Greg
