Hi,

A common approach is to use a TBlobStream. Lookup the help on TBlobStream. When the object is created, you associated it with the blob field of a dataset.

Then you can save data directly to the stream, using methods like TJpegGraphic.SaveToStream, or any other graphic class that can save to a stream. Note that you should also save the type of graphic, ie, extension in the database, so you may later read it back properly.

Note that Envision 2 can detect the format from the contents of the stream, but if you are using other classes, it would be safer to save the extension also in the table.
