Following your requirement I have developed a component allowing to find barcodes over an image: TBarCodesFinder.

Here a sample usage:

procedure TForm1.FindBarcodes1Click(Sender: TObject);
Var BCFinder:TBarCodesFinder;
// Find the barcodes
if BCFinder.Find(ImageScrollBox1.Graphic) then
// Iter by all found barcodes
For i:=0 to BCFinder.BarCodesCount-1 do
// Do something with each barcode area... eg recognize it !

You can set several paremeters to make a fine tuning on your images type.

The component will be available in next days as shareware on my web site: http://web.tiscalinet.it/delphipage
