Hi Andrew,

I am loading both images in the Demo program and cannot see a difference with my eyes.

One possibility is that when a JPEG (or a tiff with JPEG compression), there is a loss of image detail (the colors can change slightly to achieve high compression).

For example, if a you save a JPEG files multiple times, the quality will degrade.

I don't have comprehensive CBuilder example. Generaly the conversion is quite straight forward from Delphi to C++. The reverse may not be true. Let me know if you do have some questions on this.

Best regards,

Michel
