Do you need this for a particular file format?

Envision as such only supports the RGB color space. Once an image is read, it is loaded into the TDibGraphic and then it is in the RGB color space.

So for sure, manipulating in YCC color is not in the plans.

As far as detecting the color space for a file, this is specific to the file format. For example, TIFF can read different color space, but once it is loaded it will convert to RGB.

If you really want to forbid loading an image, it would have to be done before attempting to load it in Envision.
