Hi Steve,

Since version 2, I found it simpler to avoid compiling without the .Lib file. I have not tested this with CBuilder 3 though.

I know you tried add the *.pas files to your project and it hung. Generally this is the simplest approach and it recompiles the *.pas files everytime, so if you do a fix in the source files, you don't need to recompile the lib file.
This is really the prefered approach and CBuilder should not hang. I know longer have CB3 installed, but if you can't work this out, I will find a computer to install it on. Do you get any type of hint as to why it is hanging?

If you want to compile a Lib file and include it in the project, it may be that for some reason the project En_C3.Bpk no longer has the "generate lib file" option. I think this is in the Linker tab.
