Subject: Corrupt Tiffs

I am having a problem with corrupt Tiffs that will not load in Windows imaging. My problem is that I want to write a program in CB6 to find the corrupt images and list them. However the envision package will open them. Is there any tag (or anything) I can access in code that will tell me when the image is corrupt? In the envision package the corrupt area of the images has black lines and black blocks over it when it is displayed.
Any help would be appreciated...
