Subject: Get Jpeg Quality/Compression details

Hi

(Licenced user V2)

I don't know anything about jpeg formats so forgive me if this is a stupid question!

Does a jpeg file have the compression/quality information stored in the file? and after loading a jpeg from file does anyone know if it's possible to retrieve this from the file or graphic properties?

I tried this but it always returns 80 for every file regardles.

if ImageScrollBox.Graphic is TJpegGraphic
then
edit1.Text :=
Inttostr(
TJpegGraphic.(ImageScrollBox.Graphic).SaveQuality
);

Many thanks

Bruce Biddle
