Subject: Double buffering and tiling

Can someone confirm if double buffering and tiling is supported with this component?

I was not able to find information in the documentation or in the forum regarding support for double buffering and tiling:

double buffering:
- useful to avoid tearing and flashing when panning through an image.

tiling:
- useful to speed the loading, display and panning of large image files.
