Subject: TRotateTransform problems

I'm trying to use a TRotateTransform to rotate a scanned page by about 1 degree. As often happens the scan wasn't quite square so a small adjustment is required. The rotate works, but the quality of the writing really suffers. About half the letters come out 'bent' and lines that should now be straight are staircased. I think the problem is the 'moving' of certain pixels next to those that are not 'moved' but when I rotate the same scan in PSP the result looks far better, I think they possibly blend as they rotate.

Is there anything I can do to create a better small rotation - I've tried smoothing before and/or after but without joy.

I can post examples if required...
