Subject: Envision 2b1, EMF file not displayed, Windows crashes

Michel,

so far I have used Envision Version 1.10 to display images. A small number of images could not be shown, because the components regarded them as invalid. Nevertheless other programs, i.e. Irvan View or Internet Explorer showed the images correctly.

I have now tried Envision 2 beta 1 with those images to see if the new components could show the files, but things got worse.
The images are not shown, but for some images the viewer demo.exe hangs in Open when trying to show a thumbnail and then Windows crashes (W95 / 98 / ME). This are some EMF images with a large image size.
Perhaps there is a memory leak when trying to load the image and Windows resources are being depleted.

For one WMF file there is a message that the file is invalid. The problem here ist that the program demo.exe shows one alert message after another and can't be stopped.

I can send you the files if you want to test it.

Regards

Martin
