Hi Chris,

It has been a few years since I looked into this. I had looked at Abbyy, Tiger, and a few others. Tiger was ok for ocr at a reasonable price compared to the others, and was very fast. Abbyy was the most accurate and they seemed to have been improve the product over the years. Tiger has not changed much. Tiger only supports OCR not OMR. I would look first at Abbyy. I think it will integrate with Delphi using ActiveX/COM and maybe a straight DLL. Xerox textbridge may also do OMR. All should integrate with Delphi with a bit of work, but don't count on the vendor if they don't have a ready made Delphi example.

Best regards,

Michel
