Hi,

For legal reasons (LZW is patented) LZW is not part of Envision.

In the US the patent expires June 20, 2003, but Japan an Europe I believe it is June 2004. Since Envision is obviously distributed on the internet, I think I won't be able to distribute the LZW tiff support until then. I will have to wait and see what happens after the patent expires in the US.
