Subject: TImage transparent property doesn't work

Delphi 5, XPhome, Envision 2

i've been having big trouble on a TImage and setting the Transparent property to true... it doesn't go transparent.

i had installed all the TurboPower library's and thought maybe it was one of them, or maybe XP didn't like Delphi.

after trying for days to figure out what was goin on, i bit the bullet and uninstalled everything including Delphi.

reinstalled Delphi and TImage Transparent property worked fine.

started adding library's one at a time and TImage continued to work until i installed Envision v2, then TImage Transparent property stopped working.
also, the TImageList will no longer allow me to add files of type .bmp.

is this a bug? is there a fix?
thanks... erick
