Hello Howard,

I apologize for the delay; I am returning from vacation.

When I say you should not recompile the .dpk file, it really is recommended not to recompile it. Component vendors explicitely provide the .bpl file to install the design-time components. The best example, is Delphi itself; you don't recompile the packages (Borland does not give you the source anyway).

The only reason to recompile the .Dpk file is if you made changes to the TImageScrollBox component that affects the design time operation.

Are you able to install the En_DN.Bpl file ( where N is you Delphi version) from the Component|Install packages menu?

The error message you are getting is somewhat strange because you are trying to compile Unit1.Pas. What is in Unit1.Pas? If you still want to recompile the package, make sure you do a Close All operation from the file menu, then open the En_DN.Dpk file. Then make sure the package options include the directory where you installed Envision so the EnImgScr.Pas file can be found by the compiler. Also, note that the Standard version of Delphi does not allow compiling packages.

Best regards,

Michel
