Hi Suri,

Optimizing for palette video modes is not something I am planning since true color video mode is much more popular, and this would be a considerable amount of work.

Although, converting from True Color to BW should not be so much of a problem, but the dithering is one approach to reduce the number of colors. Have you tried it with Dithering = False? Quantize is not necessary because a black and white palette is always the same.
