This is a call to the windows API that seems to fail under weird conditions. This link gives more information on it:

I would try the beta of version 2, as some changes have been made that may help.

Also related is the GetDib failure, which seems to be fixed due to a kind user of Envision who told me that memory allocated by GetMem may cause error when calling some windows API functions. There will be a new version of beta 2 shortly with this change.
