Subject: Re: C++ Builder Example Source Code
In reply to: Lewis Aslan 's message, "C++ Builder Example Source Code" on 09:52:41 07/03/01 Tue

Hi Lewis,

I don't have many CBuilder examples. There is a scanning example that may downloaded from,

<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.intervalsoftware.com/files/scandemoCB5.zip">http://www.intervalsoftware.com/files/scandemoCB5.zip</a>

Converting Object Pascal to CBuilder is quite simple with a few guidelines.

Calls to TClass.Create become new TClass(), and calls to Class.Free become delete Class;

With all Object Pascal objects, pointer deferencing is implicite, with C you use ->, for example

Image.Picture.Graphic becomes Image->Picture->Graphic

:= becomes =

and there are some other syntax differences.

Best regards,
