Hi Sven,

The selection of the twain source and keeping the interface loaded has been done,
but it will be released with version (the release date is still unknown).

If you would like to test it, send me an email directly.

For the speed, I am not sure what you'll get with color images. The limiting factor
will most likely be the speed at which you save the images. Color images are
larges, and you may not be able to save 30 per second. I am quite sure this is not
possible.
