Hi Poul,

At the moment I don't plan to add a function that copies to a TBitmap in 8bit. You can copy to a TBitmapGraphic in 8bits. Using a memory stream will be quite lightweight, just saving to a stream and loading in TBitmap. An even faster approach would be to create the TBitmap with pf8bit, and then copy the scan lines from TBitmapGraphic to TBitmap using the ScanLine properties of both objects.
