Subject: Overlaid Cross

I have a bitmap about 2000 x 300 pixels and am displaying a 300 x 400 segment. I wish to be able to mark a point on the segment with a cross, scroll the image so that the marked point (and the cross) is off screen, and when scrolling back redisplay the cross.

My options seem to be to, (a) display useing an ImageScrollbox with added canvas and add a mouse handler to generate the cross, (b) use a TImage contained in a Scrollbox and draw the cross on the image canvas (or add a canvas) and lastly, (c) draw image and cross on a PaintBox contained in a ScrollBox. The last seems the most straight forward but I would welcome suggestions.

Bob
