Hi,

Envision does not have OCR support. I have done some research on many OCR engines over one year ago, and have successfully integrated the Tiger OCR engine (www.ocr.com) with a software that uses Envision. This engine was used by Corel I think in the CorelTrace program. It is a very fast engine, but it's accuracy was not as good as leaders such as
OmniPage and TextBridge. The support for the Tiger engine was very poor.

There is a not so well known engine from Russia, which may have the best accuracy, called FineReader. I have received an email from them, saying they have released a new version, and the toolkit is advertised as being compatible with Delphi. http://www.abbyy.com/

There is also a much less expensive engine called WOCAR,

Best regards,

Michel
