There is no single answer as to which filter is the best.

ifTriangle,
ifHermite,
ifBell,
ifBSpline,
ifLanczos3,
fMitchell


They are listed generally in speed order. ifTriangle is the fastest, but it is not as good

quality. Starting from the BSpline filter, it is hard to tell the difference in quality.

They all produce a slightly different pattern in the resulting image. One way to compare is

to create a very small (say, 8x8 pixel image) in notepad, and then experiment resizing with

every filter.
